| The currently running World Series of Poker Europe has brought lots of poker pros and amateurs to London, and a number of side poker events are running there simultaneously. One of them, a third-time Party Poker Den, is about to commence on September 30th. This event is expected to attract a lot of attention of poker fans, as it will run for 36 hours without interruptions.
The main concept behind this marathon is that one of world-famous poker celebrities, Phil Laak is about to prove that he is capable of playing poker for 36 hours in a row. The show will be televised, and there also will be betting offered on whether any of the world’s best poker professionals could stay in the game for an unprecedented time record.
It’s been announced that Phil Laak won’t be the only one there at the Party Poker Den III show to try to make it to the end. Neil Channing is one of those who will rival Laak in his record ambitions. The list of the participants to the tournament also includes David “Devilfish” Ulliott, Brian Townsend, Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilly and John Tabatabai.
Buy-in for the Party Poker Den III is USD 10,000, the blinds are to stay fixed throughout the entire event at USD 25/USD 50, whereas the stakes may possibly be raised, which remains upon discretion of the tournament director.
