Casinos Austria International Reports Best Revenues in 2007
Turnover for the 66 companies belonging to Casinos Austria Group for 2007 reached a record of 3.49 billion euros compared to 2006, where they obtained 3.35 billion euros, thus meaning an increment of 4,1 percent.
The sum-total operative income for the global casino operations of the company increased a 10.7% last year, achieving a record of 1.1 billion euros. This amount exceeds the 1 billion mark for the first time in the Group’s 30 years in the industry.  The number of visitors reached 17.5 million in 2007, showing an increase of 5.4 percent.
Besides, eight new casinos have joined the Casinos Austria Group in 2007 – in Germany, Latin America, and South Africa. Early in 2008, the company’s been awarded with the ‘Best European Casino Operator’ award within Empire Gaming Awards.
