| Atlantic City vs. Las Vegas Survey |
A recent survey conducted by Market Metrix has proven that most visitors tend to prefer Atlantic City to Las Vegas. The survey embraced more than 35,000 visitors of both destinations. The Market Metrix Hospitality Index is the largest and most accurate tester of performance within the hospitality industry. Atlantic City has beaten Las Vegas in each of the six categories of the survey, which were: customer satisfaction, value for price, very likely to recommend, pampered, hip/cool, and sophisticated. The report says that Atlantic City visitors are so satisfied with their hotel and casino service that are much more willing to recommend Atlantic City to their acquaintances. Most of all Atlantic City guests distinguish Harrah’s service and employee attitudes along with Borgata’s restaurants. The survey is very encouraging for Atlantic City and challenging for Las Vegas. Jeffrey Vasser, executive director of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority, stressed that all visitors of the city are sure to have the supreme service each time they come to this fast growing gaming destination. He mentioned that service appears to be the major point why people like or dislike the place they visit, so Atlantic City will strive to provide it top-flight.
